Global Racing Schools is a professional motorsports driver training company involved in several areas of motorsports. We bring with us extensive motorsports experience to provide the best training for aspiring drivers. We offer driver training for most disciplines of motorsports, from go-karting all the way to up to single seaters.

History

Global Racing Schools Singapore started as a subsidiary of Global Racing Alliances, which was founded in 2007. Global Racing Alliances started off as a driver development agency that helps race drivers improve their chances of being a professional racer by conducted training and management for them.
Since then Global Racing Alliances has seen hundreds of racecar drivers go through our training programs and have gone on to become successful in their race career. Some of our drivers even got noticed by Formula 1 teams and got invited for testing sessions to evaluate their readiness.
As the Motorsport scene in Singapore continues to develop, Global Racing Schools Singapore was born to provide a proper support structure for young Singaporeans looking to become professional racers.
We have since supported numerous Singaporean drivers in their training, racing and career advancements. And now that Singaporeans are starting to open up to the world of motorsports with the introduction of Formula 1, and a new purpose built racing circuit.
We are glad to bring with us the experience and knowledge we have gathered from our international exposure to provide world class training for Singaporean drivers.

Instructor Profiles
Ro Charlz – Touring car & GT Instructor
Ro Charlz is a FIA International A grade License holder that is also a test driver for Super GT. He is one of the young and upcoming talents in the world of GT Car racing. Charlz is an Australian race driver that is racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup. Charlz was the 2004 and 2005 Formula Hayabusa
Champion in Asia and won a BMW Asia Junior scholarship in 2004 with Petronas. For the 2005 season Charlz raced Formula BMW Pacific with the Meritus team and was a strong title contender.
Charlz has extensive experience in Sports GT and Touring cars. He is a specialised on tracks like Sepang which makes him invaluable to track day enthusiast. His skills behind the wheel is among the most precise amongst the drivers on the grid and he has coached many young and professional drivers in karts, Formula cars and GT Sports cars too. He also has experience in running events for car manufacturers during their corporate events.

Richard Bradley – Formula Car & Karting Instructor
Richard Bradley is a Formula 3 driver that was a Formula BMW Pacific Champion and the British Open Karting Champion with a string of European titles to his name. Having raced in Europe with the Maddox works team, Richard has had almost 10 years of karting under his belt. Richard also had
the opportunity to work on chassis testing of prototype models for race karts which allowed him to coach drivers on specific ways to understand the set up of their karts. He is able to systematically teach a driver how to feel his kart in order to tell his mechanic how to set up the kart to attain more grip and speed. Something many instructors are unable to do.
In 2010 he dominated the entire field during the Asian Karting Open Championship to claim the most convincing victory ever witnessed shocking the entire field of competitors.
Richard is an excellent communicator who is able to transfer his knowledge to a driver in the most basic manner so as to greatly enhance the driver’s understanding of his driving techniques.
Richard is the Karting instructor for Global Racing Schools Driver Development Program and any driver can greatly benefit even from the first few sessions with Richard.

JP Tuason - Race instructor
JP Tuason has been involved in the motorsports and automotive industry for over 19 years. He understands the challenges and excitement of racing first hand, having won three local karting championships and representing the Philippines in numerous international events including the World Finals
in Japan and Egypt. JP moved on to compete in rally cross and touring cars. Several more titles followed including the novice driver of the year award. JP then made the jump to Formula cars, backed by Toyota and Tag Heuer. This successful step up produced numerous podium finishes and wins at the Shell-Filinvest Grand Prix in the Philippines and the Asian Formula Challenge in China. In 2003, at age 27, JP broke through to Formula 3 and has been a regular in the Asian Formula 3 series competing in Japan, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. In 2005 and 2006 wins came from races in China and Philippine F3 races.
A firm believer in the continuous pursuit of knowledge, JP has attended top racing schools in the U.S. where he received advanced instruction from world-famous institutions such as Skip Barber Racing School, Richard Petty Driving and Michael Andretti Speed Lab.

David Hardman – Race Instructor
Over the past decade David have personally taught over 1000 advanced driving courses along with assisting in the set up of the V8 Superschool (drive and ride academy). He has lectured and worked with class sizes ranging from intensive one on one courses to groups in excess of 250
participants and have completed over 400,000 klms and10,000 hot lap rides without incident.
David also have personally worked on and instructed at numerous multi tiered vehicle launches and drive events for manufacturers around the globe including – Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Holden, HSV, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, MG, Mercedes Benz, Proton, Rover, SAAB, Subaru, Volvo, etc highlighting new technology including ABS, CBA, EBD, ESP, Traction Control, Electronic Diff’s, and Hill Decent Control.
During his career, he has worked on all facets within the automotive driver training industry including intensive one-on-one training with professional racing drivers to help them achieve their full potential both on and away from the track.

Jonathan Wong - Fitness Coach
Coach Jonathan Wong is one of Asia's top Strength and Health Specialists. He has coached athletes for international competitions from many sports including Canoeing, Rugby, Basketball, Golf and Ultimate Frisbee. He has also helps hundreds of "regular" men and women each year to maximize
their health and productivity at the best private gym in Asia, the Genesis Performance Center.
Because of his passion for helping clients to get results fast, he spends two months out of every year on seminars and internships with the top experts in the health and sports performance field so that clients are exposed to only the best and most effective methods for getting results.

Edgar K. Tham - Mental Trainer
Edgar is Singapore's very first Sport Psychologist (1995). As a leading practitioner and authority in sport psychology, he has worked with performers from more than 40 different performance domains (e.g., sports, music, performing arts, military, business, online trading, lifestyle & weight
management), and from the schools to world championship levels since 1993. He has worked as a team consultant and traveling psychologist to numerous national teams preparing for the SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, World Championships and Asian Youth Games.
Edgar was formerly Head of Sport Psychology at the Singapore Sports Council (1996), and was the Deputy Director of the Training Academy at the Singapore Sports Council (2003) delivering certification and continuing education for sports, fitness and coaching professionals. In 2005, he was the founding head of the School of Sports, Health & Leisure at the Republic Polytechnic, where he lead the development of 4 new diploma courses for the sports and leisure industries.
He has personally coached and trained more than 20,000 people from all walks of life. He is long- time lecturer for the Singapore Sports Council’s National Coaching Accreditation Programme in Mental Skills Training since 1996, and is currently an adjunct teaching faculty member in sport psychology with Edith Cowan University (Australia) and Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand). As a sport psychologist in private practice, his most active consulting work is presently with private clients, professional athletes, Singapore Armed Forces Shooting Contingent, and numerous sport teams at the school-, polytechnic-, and national-levels.
As a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society, Edgar is listed in the International Who's Who of Professionals (2000) for his specialized work in peak performance psychology. He is the author of In The Zone:The Mindset for Peak Performance in Sports, Psychological Rehabilitation: Mental Skills for Healing & Recovery, and co-author of The Ideal Performance State. He has just published a new book entitled, Scientifically Slim: 30 Proven Ways to Lose Weight & Keep It Off, in July 2009. He is currently working on his next book entitled, Mental Toughness Strategies of the World’s Greatest Athletes.
Edgar was a former national champion in dragonboat racing, and holds black belts in both Aikido and Taekwondo. He was awarded several Colours Awards for his leadership and achievements in competitive racing.

Mark is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster best known for reporting live from the floor of the Singapore Exchange on CNBC Asia. Working alongside well-known Singapore television personalities such as Martin Soong and Christine Tan on Squawk Box and Market Watch, he
developed a reputation for fast, accurate and energetic reports on SGX-listed stocks that redefined the role of stockwatcher.
Mark has lived in Singapore since 1997. He joined the Radio Corporation of Singapore (now MediaCorp Radio) to help develop and launch NewsRadio 93.8 (now 938live). His voice is also familiar to listeners of Power98, where he presented business news.
He made the switch to television in 1999 when he joined CNBC Asia Pacific and held almost every position in the newsroom, including producer and Australia Editor, and in front of the camera as stockwatcher, anchor and reporter.A graduate from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Mark became Australia’s youngest current affairs show host with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s regional radio network.

Our Program Works
We have trained hundreds of drivers from all around the world, and all of them have improved significantly since taking up training with us.
